Privacy Notice

Account data (name, email address, login credentials or Google sign-in identifier) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

Content you create (talks, scripts, Ready Room™ workbook answers, audio and video recordings, improv attempts, rehearsal logs) — to provide the service and generate your feedback. Legal basis: performance of our contract.

Support messages — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Usage and device data (pages used, feature events, IP address, browser and device identifiers, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Purchase records (which plan or review you bought, subscription status and renewal dates) — to give you what you paid for. Legal basis: performance of our contract. Card details are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.

Marketing emails — only if you opt in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

Service providers and subprocessors — our hosting and database provider, which stores your account data, recordings and workbook content; and our AI providers, which process your transcripts, workbook text and audio to generate coaching feedback.

Stripe, our payment processor, for card processing, subscription billing, sales tax calculation and receipts.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where we are required by law.

A recording you submit for a Spotlight Review is made available to Meridith Grundei as reviewer. Nothing you record is shared with other users or published.

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Account and content data is kept while your account is active. Recordings are kept until you delete them, and we keep only your most recent takes per talk by default. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their supervisory authority. Email meridith@grundeicoaching.com and we will respond within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, private storage buckets, and row-level access controls so that one speaker cannot reach another speaker's content.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to keep the app working. We do not use advertising cookies. Any analytics cookies are used only to understand aggregate product usage, and you can manage cookies in your browser settings.
